                                          ANNOUNCEMENT

Today Fr. Martin Anozie is visiting and next Sunday it will be Fr. Michael Fortin.

. We encourage regular parishioners to complete a Status Animarum form if they have not already done so. It 

tells the priest who you are and gives you a right to the sacraments.

. Next Sunday there will be a  reception to welcome the new prior from Enugu, Fr. Michael Fortin. It will take

place after the High Mass.

. The original novena was the nine days before the feast of Pentecost. It starts this coming Friday. The Veni 

Creator or other prayers to the Holy Ghost can be recited for each of these nine days.

. In order to be confirmed each candidate must know by heart the information contained in the booklet 

Preparation for Confirmation. It is available in the bookstore, and it is now time to start preparing for this sacrament that will make you soldiers of Our Lord Jesus Christ. 

. St. Pius X chapel now has its own bank account, Fidelity 5620139751, The Society of Saint Pius X. 

Donations for the chapel and for remodeling can be made directly into this bank account.

. Pews newly made in Nigerian mahogany have been ordered for the chapel but will take about four months to

manufacture. The cost per pew is N 200,000. Families of parishioners are invited to collect so as to donate a pew. if this is done a brass plaque will indicate the name of the family or the person[s] in whose memory the donation is made.
